BDI is a nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of people in Burundi. With over 11 million inhabitants, Burundi is one of the poorest countries in East Central Africa. Our organization works with communities through local leaders and other organizations to identify and target areas that require assistance
Eradicating poverty
BDI focuses on durable solutions to the obstacles that hinder the socio-economic development of Burundi. We advocate for investment in projects that yield results for communities. We also partner with other organizations from diverse sectors and industries in and out of the country.
