Nearly 65% of Burundi population live below the poverty line. Charitable contributions to BDI enable us to initiate life changing projects.  

Specific fundraising campaigns are organized from time to time to fund urgent needs of the Burundian needy population. In May 2017, we delivered over 5 tons of food to needy families of Bubanza serving more than 200 women.

Your contribution also allows our organization to fund startup costs for various services such as the provision of office expenses, volunteer services coordination, website maintenance, as well as outreach costs to the Burundian community.
